Three Palestinians were assassinated by IOF in Nablus
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced Tuesday that three Palestinians, including Ibrahim al-Nabelsi, and Islam Saboh, among the most prominent leaders of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, were assassinated after their house was surrounded in the Old City of Nablus.
The Ministry added that 40 citizens were injured by live bullets, four of them seriously, and the third man who was killed was known as Jamal Taha after large forces of the occupation army stormed Nablus and the old town.
According to local sources, massive Israeli occupation forces stormed the eastern lane of the Old City of Nablus. They surrounded one of the buildings in the area, leading to violent clashes.
According to the sources, one of the besieged houses was targeted by two rockets (Inirga) by IOF and one of the youths was ordered to surrender in the Old City.
It added that the forces had imposed an aggravated cordon on Al-Habala, Al-Fakqos, and Sheikh Mslam neighborhoods and closed all entrances.
The forces had also deployed to Faisal and Hatin streets in the city, and sniper soldiers had taken up a number of buildings and fired shots at citizens.
According to Red Crescent crews, “The number of Nablus wounded people has so far reached 30, of which 4 have reached Rafidia Hospital, while the occupation army is preventing crews from reaching an injured woman in Nablus.”
On the other side, the spokesman for the occupation army said that “army forces and the Yamam unit are besieging the home of a wanted man in Nablus”.
He added, “We used a shoulder-borne missile during the Nablus shooting, which killed him with someone else.”
The Israeli newspaper Yediot Ahronot said, “the Israeli army besieged Ibrahim al-Nablsi.” After intelligence was received about the entry of the Nablus into his family home and the operation was carried out immediately.
