How much sweets you can eat without harming your health??
British doctors said that the amount of free sugars from food and drinks should not exceed 5% of the daily diet.
This means that the average adult can have no more than 30 g of sugars (that’s about 7 cc’s) a day.
The American Heart Association recommends no more than 24 g of sugar for women and no more than 36 g, or 9 scoops, for men.
It turns out that you can drink no more than 2 to 3 cups of tea with sugar or less than a can of Coke a day. The latter can have 9 sugar cubes.
