The Prisoners Affairs Commission: “Etzion” provides expired food to inmates
The Department of the Etzion Detention Centre provided corrupted and expired meals to detainees there.
In a report released on Wednesday, the Committee on Prisoners’ and Liberators’ Affairs explained that this is not the first time that the Etzion administration has provided prisoners with corrupt food. It deliberately targets and restricts prisoners by denying them the most fundamental rights guaranteed by international laws and customs, and does not care about their safety and health issues.
In the same context, the Commission’s report transmitted similar statements to a number of young men currently detained in the Etzion detention centre., which had been entrusted during the recent campaign of arrests in various Palestinian cities, most of them had been beaten with rifle butts and beaten in the head and body, and the occupying forces had deliberately dragged them to the ground.
It should be noted that the number of prisoners held in Etzion is currently 21.
