Bennett’s family receives another death threat
The family of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett received another death threat in an envelope that included a bullet, Israeli media reported on Thursday.
The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation network (KAN) stated that the target of the threat letter was Bennett’s 17-year-old son Yoni.
The accident is being analyzed by Israeli police and the Shin Bet public security service to determine the source of the threat letter, the broadcaster said.
Last week, a threat letter that contained a bullet was sent to Bennett’s house, compelling the Israeli security authorities to set further protection procedures on the prime minister’s family.
“Political conflict, no matter how profound, should not reach violence, bullying, and death threats,” Bennett said via tweet commenting on the first threat letter.
