Three Israeli settlers killed near Tel Aviv
At least three Israeli settlers on Thursday were killed and four others wounded in an attack in the Israeli city of Elad near Petah Tikva towards the end of Independence Day as they claimed it according to Israeli media.
It clarified that two of the victims were transported to hospitals in critical condition, one in moderate and one in light condition.
It said that Israeli police were investigating the background of the incident and according to reports, they were wounded by two men, one wielding an ax and another with a gun, in two different locations including near Elad Amphitheater Park.
While the Palestinian factions blessed the killing of three settlers in a double attack is a response of the storming of Al Aqsa Mosque today.
Hamas spokesman, Hazem Qassem, said in a press statement that the operation was part of the Palestinian anger over the occupation’s attacks against holy sites, especially storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
“Today’s brave operation in Tel Aviv is a real application of what the resistance warned about when it said Al-Aqsa is a red line,” Qassem said.
He added, “We are in an united and ongoing state of battle in all places where the Palestinian people exist.”
“The Israeli army cannot repress the defences in Gaza, the West Bank, Palestinians in Israel,” he concluded.
