Watch how Palestinian beauty queen steals lights at “Miss Global”
Lauren Imseeh, a beauty queen competitor, is competing in Miss Global, an annual global beauty pageant, as she represents Palestine. Imseeh, the founder of Edmonds Fashion and LuXVerry, is a well-known public figure.
Lauren released a video on Instagram where she stated she chose the Palestinian political prisoners’ dress for the national custom for Miss Global this year, stating she wanted to reflect the hardship of the people living there under occupation.

The beauty queen posted a video wearing a black Palestinian political prisoners’ uniform with the words ‘Free Palestine‘ written on the back. She also taped areas of her body, including her mouth, and scribbled phrases such as SPEAK UP, CAN’T BREATHE SINCE 1948, and PEACE on her body.
“This year, I focused on the message more than the outfit itself, which is why I chose the Palestinian political prisoners outfit to represent all of Palestine, to demonstrate how we are all imprisoned in our own land,” the beauty queen stated in the post.
Lauren thanked her brother Edmon Imseeh and Yousef Eleiwi, a fashion designer from Nablus, for creating this outfit highlighting the struggles Palestinians face on a daily basis, despite the fact that she said it would be impossible to wear this custom for the beauty pageant and that she would choose a different related one.
The 24-year-old Palestinian businesswoman and influencer added that she hoped to have delivered a strong message to the international community, urging them to act.
The beauty queen chose a custom influenced by the colors of the Palestinian flag, red, black, white, and green, for the true national costume event. A large peace sign in the back, surrounded by olive trees and pigeons, symbolizes hope and togetherness, as that is what Palestinians ‘stand and live by.’
