Israel delivers demolition orders against six houses, two shops in Hebron
Israeli forces on Wednesday delivered destruction orders against six homes and two shops to the south of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, local activist said.
Coordinator of the Protection and Steadfastness Committees in Masafer Yatta, Fouad al-Amour, said that forces broke into the town of Ar-Rafaiya to the east of the town of Yatta and handed Palestinian residents demolition notices against six inhabited homes, a commercial shop, and a carwash shop.
The Israeli occupation High Court on May 4 gave the army the green light to destroy 12 towns in Masafer Yatta and evict their citizens after the army announced the region as a firing zone.
Since then, the Israeli military has gradually destroyed several houses and rooms in different villages to avoid being criticized if it carries out the destruction at one time.
