Grandparents killed in M3 crash seen for the first time
last week, there was a huge crash caused the death of a couple which have been confirmed as two grandparents as their brokenhearted family described the “huge hole in their hearts”. Emergency services rushed to the scene on the motorway shortly after midnight last Wednesday, two people were declared dead at the scene.
They have been named by police as Mrs. Amal Yassine and Dr. Hatem Yassine from Oxford. Their family showed honor to them by saying: “They leave behind a huge hole in the hearts of their four beloved children, as well all of the members of their family.”
The M3 was closed in both directions, the air ambulance landed on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 2 and 3 westbound.
A spokesperson from the police said: “We are appealing for witnesses for a single vehicle collision on the M3, after a car collided with the central reservation at around 12.45am.“
“Sadly, the driver and the passenger were both declared dead the scene.”
“The carriageway will remain shut for at least a few more hours. The eastbound carriageway has now reopened two lanes.”
