Two new grain ships sail from Ukraine
Two new grain ships left Ukraine’s ports on Saturday, the Turkish Defense Ministry said.
The Turkish Defense Ministry said on Saturday that two other ships carrying grain shipments had left the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk, bringing the total number of ships that left Ukraine’s Black Sea ports under a United Nations-brokered grain export agreement to 27.
The joint coordination center established to secure the safe passage said in a statement that the ships Zumrut Anna and MV Ocean S, which were authorized to leave on August 20, were carrying 6,300 tons of sunflower oil and 25,000 tons of wheat, respectively.
