Fatwa House calls on Muslims to heed the ‘call of duty’ in solidarity with Al-Aqsa
The Libyan Fatwa House called on Thursday the Islamic community to achieve their duty towards their brothers in Palestine and support them by all means.
The Council of Sharia Research and Studies at the Fatwa House called Muslims in a press statement to send the Sadaqa and Zakat money to the Palestinians in the Al-Aqsa, Gaza Strip, and the West Bank, adding that they are defending the holy site and carrying out the Jihad duty on behalf of all Muslims.
“The people of Palestine were afflicted with betrayal, and many of their Muslim brothers abandoned them. We have even seen some who tried to push them to succumb to the occupiers’ demands.”
The Council urged the Muslim nations to pressure their governments toward supporting the people of Palestine, saying it is a legitimate duty to support the “Mujahideen” who are resisting the occupation.
It called for mass marches to denounce the attack against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the normalization with the occupying state of Israel, which is increasing the suffering of the Palestinian people, according to the statement.
