Israeli settlers raid archeological area in Sebastia
Israeli settlers on Tuesday raided the archeological area in Sebastia Palestinian village northwest of Nablus, in the northern region of the occupied West Bank.
Mayor of Sebastia, Mohammad Azem, said several Israeli occupation jeeps raided Sebastia to accompany the settlers in many buses into the archeological area.
Azem clarified that the Israeli soldiers closed the entire area of the site and all surrounding roads before stopping the Palestinians from entering it.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli soldiers often raided Sebastia to accompany groups of Israeli settlers into the archaeological area.
During these attacks, the Israeli soldiers barricade Palestinian traffic, often storm houses and stores, seize Palestinians, assault protesters, and remove the Palestinian flag from the place.
