The World Health Organization (WHO) stated via tweet that obtaining a vaccine against the new Coronavirus does not break Fasting in the blessed Ramadan.
The Coronavian vaccine is the best vaccine against Coronavirus that can be obtained, Global health advised.
Its assertion had been made by competent and prominent advisory bodies, assisted by experts who had confirmed that the vaccine did not break Fasting in accordance with Islamic law.
This question has been frequently echoed before the start of the holy month of Ramadan in meeting with a vaccination campaign around the world, which has required scientists and fatwas to explain the matter.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Doctrinal Society, Professor at the Faculty of Sharia at Imam, Mohammed bin Saud, University, Dr. Saad Al – Khathlan, emphasized that taking the COVID-19 vaccine does not break Fasting, as it is neither food nor drink, but is one of the types of medicinal needles that most modern scientists say do not.
The UAE Forensic Advisory Council also made it obvious that the COVID-19 vaccine is “not broken,” asserting that the vaccine does not break or invalidate the Fast.
