He killed two Israelis and wounding about 15 others, with varying degrees of injuries, Israeli media said.
The Israeli Ynet website, at about 5:30 a.m. said that members of the Shin Bet identified the preparator near the Clock Square mosque in Jaffa, and they clashed with him before he was killed.
It added that the Shin Bet officers called him to stop and surrender, but he shot at them, before they killed him.
It clarified that Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has been informed of the event, and he will hold a security assessment session at 8:30 am.
The Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, stated that the perpetrator was identified after he was killed, after his ID card was found, and it was found that he was from Jenin and had no previous security file.
In Jenin refugee camp, the national and Islamic forces mourned the preparator, Ra’ad Fathi Hazem (28 years), from the camp’s residents.
It said that he carried out the operation in response to the crimes of the occupation and its settlers.
A massive march toured Jenin camp, before heading to the house of the martyr’s father, who works as an officer in the security services and a local official in the Fatah movement in the camp.
This Palestinian shooting attack happened as a normal reaction of the Israeli ongoing crimes, killing, storming Al Aqsa Mosque, and its attack against Palestinians at the Damascus Gate and every place in Palestine.
