Palestinian woman was shot dead by Israeli soldiers in Bethlehem: sources
Israeli occupation forces on Sunday shot and killed a Palestinian woman while she was crossing an Israeli military checkpoint near the town of Husan, to the west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
The woman, 47, who was identified as Ghada Ibraheim Ali Al -Aridi from Bethlem, is a widow and has six children, sources said.
The head of the Husan Village Council, Muhammad Sabateen, stated that the occupation forces fired at the woman in the Muteena area at the eastern entrance to the village, according to sources.
Sources added that she was walking past the checkpoint when soldiers opened gunfire on her and were later rushed by a private car to Jala hospital for medical treatment then it announced her death.
