Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in West Bank: sources
Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian on Wednesday during clashes in the hotspot city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian sources said.
Mohammad Marei, 25, died of a bullet wound to the chest, the Palestinian health ministry said. The official Palestinian news agency Wafa said he was killed during an Israeli raid on the city.
Local sources said the occupation forces arrested young Yahya Yusuf Al-Ja ‘far and Ahmad Asad Nabhan after raiding their relatives’ homes in the Al-Marah neighborhood of the city.
As a result, an angry march took place in the neighborhoods and camps of Jenin, during which participants raised the body of the martyr on their shoulders and said chants condemning the occupation’s crimes and its ongoing aggression against Jenin, calling for national unity.
