WhatsApp to retrieve deleted messages soon

WhatsApp plans to launch the feature soon which is enable users to retrieve their mistakenly deleted messages whether in a chat with friends, family, or even other chat groups, according to The Times of India.

WhatsApp had recently issued a deletion feature to all that enabled users to delete the message to all parties, but users had sometimes had trouble accidentally deleting messages important to all.

WhatsApp helps users who have permanently deleted important messages and have been unable to regain them again, especially deleted voice messages, as the app will enable users to press the “Back” button to return deleted messages again.

WhatsApp is testing the new feature with a small group of Android phone beta users within beta 2.22.13.5, and will also start later testing it with iPhone phones and computers.

The app will show users the “back off” button at the bottom of the screen, which appears after the user selects a message to delete for everyone, and the feature is expected to be rolled out to all users in the coming weeks.
