A young man was killed at dawn today, Tuesday, and 16 others were injured, during clashes with the occupation forces after they stormed the city of Jenin, while the apartment of the martyr Raad Hazem, the perpetrator of the “Dizenkov” operation, blew up in Tel Aviv.
Director of Jenin Hospital, Wissam Baker, confirmed the death of the young man, Muhammad Musa Muhammad Sabaaneh, 29, and the wounding of 16 others, one of whom was critically wounded, and a girl sustained a jaw injury, in addition to two young men with their legs, and another with shrapnel in the head.
Sources stated that large forces of the occupation army, estimated at about 100 military vehicles, accompanied by a bulldozer, stormed the city of Jenin from several axes, and closed its entrances.
Resistance fighters opened fire at the occupation forces, and young men set tires on fire during the confrontations, while the mosques of Jenin shouted loudspeakers, calling for confronting the occupation forces.
The occupation forces deployed in a number of neighborhoods of the city, and deployed their snipers on the roofs of some high buildings.
The occupation forces also surrounded a building in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, forcing its residents out of their apartments and holding them in the open, including children and women.
Raad Fathi Hazem from Jenin refugee camp carried out a shooting attack on Dizenkov Street in Tel Aviv last April, killing 3 Israelis and wounding 15 others.
