Jens Lehmann accused of attack on neighbor’s home
Jens Lehmann has been caught on camera launching a chainsaw attack on a luxury property which look as if a long-running dispute with neighbor.
Lehmann climbed on to the roof of his neighbor’s garage with a chainsaw then sawed through the beams, causing a lot of damage.
The player had apparently disconnected the power cable of the property’s security camera before, showing that the attack was already planned. Despite of the cut, the camera continued to record on battery power, transmitting Lehmann’s frenzied attack live to the owner. The investigation with the claims hasn’t finished yet.
The contentious goalkeeper has been known for run-ins with the law and battles with neighbors before.
the Bavarian police said that there are three other cases of damage to property in the same garage in the last two years. The total damage valued more than 10,000 euros. Police continue investigating if he is also responsible for these acts. The trouble between neighbors has been brewing for a long time. Lehmann bought his villa on Lake Starnberg 15 years ago for nearly $5 million. The player claims that 1.5 meters of that garage is a part of his villa and said to have reported his neighbors for property damage and coercion.
