Extensive campaign to save squirrel life in Moscow
A campaign began in Moscow to call on the city’s residents to participate in finding a squirrel in Tsaritsenu Park and rid it of a plastic ring in which his head was stuck.
“37 people are currently searching for a squirrel in Tsaritzno Park, even park rangers have joined the campaign,” said the Moscow News channel.
The publication noted that the squirrel had been observed in the head with a plastic ring, and could not close its mouth or even eat, so people were looking for it to rid it of this ring and save its life.
Tsaritsino Park is located in the southern part of Moscow City, with parks, museums, palaces, and many recreational venues, and its green areas house many species of wild animals and birds.
