Lapid: Israel is not interested in large-scale war with against Gaza
Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid confirmed on Friday that Israel is not interested in a large-scale war with the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip , but is ready for it, and is not afraid of it.
Lapid added, “Israel will not accept any threat to its citizens, and that the Palestinian factions in the Strip will not decide the agenda.”
Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz confirmed that Israel launched the war in order to remove the threat from the residents of the Gaza Strip, adding that the occupation army will exact a heavy price from anyone who tries to attack the Israelis.
Gantz made it clear that the operation is not directed against the residents of the Gaza Strip who want to work to earn a living, claiming that “the people of Gaza are suffering because of the terrorist organizations that orbit Iran.”
Gantz approved an exceptional call-up of a maximum of 25,000 reservists, senior military source told the Israeli Army Radio that ground forces are also being prepared, including soldiers, in preparation for any possible development.
