Daliani: IOF turns Jerusalem into military barracks, blocks Holy Church roads
Head of the Christian National Rally in the Holy Land, Dmitri Daliani, said on Saturday that the Israeli occupation forces turned Jerusalem into a military barracks and blocked the entrance to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to stop worshippers from celebrating the holy Saturday.
He said that the Israeli imposed restrictions on the practice of worship freely violated the most basic humanitarian laws and exposed the racist nature of the Israeli force Power.
Daliani added that the National Christian Gathering in the Holy Land has been working for days throughout the Holy Land to mobilize as many worshippers and revelers as possible on Saturday to inquire about the Israeli Supreme Court’s unfair judgment to put an end to the number of revelers in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to only 4 thousand.
He praised the unified position of the Patriarchs and Church Presidents to reject the Court’s judgment and not to admit its jurisdiction over the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Dmitri Daliani emphasized that the occupation soldiers, who restrict freedom of worship for Christians and Muslims in Jerusalem, had become armed with a Supreme Court judgment that allowed them to attack Palestinians.
Daliani concluded by saying, this Israeli ongoing attack against Palestinians especially those who are not Jewish increased our people’s insistence to freely exercise their natural right to worship in Jerusalem.
