Presidency: “Condemnation of ongoing Israeli crimes is no longer enough”
Presidency spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeina, on Thursday condemned Israel’s dangerous escalation against the Palestinian people, which raised the number of martyrs in the last 24 hours.
“We are at an intersection, and the condemnation policy and accountability are no longer enough,” he said.
He warned of the Israeli ongoing escalation of the crimes under the orders of the head of Government, Bennett, which would carry the area into further tension and violence, holding the occupation fully responsible for its consequences.
The presidential spokesman said that the international silence on the Israeli violations and its lack of accountability for its ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people encouraged the Government of Bennett and its army to continue its attacks against the Palestinian people.
“The US Administration has to bear its responsibility to stop this Israeli frenzy that is dragging the region into the violence box that we have repeatedly warned about, asking: Where is the US Administration’s option to summon during the last contact? The conditions that must be equipped before President Biden’s visit to the province, which Israel is trying to block by escalating against Palestinians.
He concluded that Israel’s ongoing attack, lack of political horizon, and lack of international protection for the Palestinian people had carried things to an untenable phase.
