PPS: IOF kills 30 Palestinians, arrests 400 from Jenin since start of 2022
Israeli forces killed 30 Palestinians and arrested 400 others from the northern West Bank neighborhood of Jenin since the start of 2022, on Monday said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
The Israeli occupation forces destroyed seven homes of families of inmates accused of killing Israelis on January 1 of this year.
The destroyed homes were distributed as follows: four homes in Silat al-Harithiya town, northwest of Jenin city, another in Yabad town, west of the city, and two others destroyed this morning in the nearby town of Rummana.
Besides, the Israeli forces arrested some 400 people, including four women, since the beginning of this year, reported the PPS, adding that 175 inmates from the Jenin vicinity are serving long jail terms, including 75 who are sentenced to life detention.
