A 23-year-old Palestinian succumbed to his injuring in the head by a rubber-coated metal bullet fired by Israeli occupation forces who attacked Palestinian worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem on April 22. According to a family relative.
Abdul Rahman al-Sharif reported his brother, Walid, a resident of occupied East Jerusalem’s northern Beit Hanina district, died in hospital after being in a coma since his accident, which left him with a skull laceration and serious brain hemorrhaging from which he never recovered.
Before being transferred to the hospital, Israeli forces imprisoned Walid al-Sharif, aggravating his wounds.
Thousands of Palestinians were praying at Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy fasting month of Ramadan when Israeli occupation troops attacked them, injuring 152 individuals, including Walid al-Sharif, and detaining more than 500 others.
