Elon Musk’s mother: “I sleep in garage when he visits”
Months after the global billionaire Elon Musk confirmed that he does not own a house but sleeps with his friends, the mother of the Tesla owner came back and confirmed the matter again.
May Musk revealed that she has to sleep in the garage when she visits her son, the richest man in the world, noting that he never cares about property.
She added that when she was a guest of the $229 billion tech tycoon in Texas, she had to sleep in the garage next to his car.
She also jokingly considered “that a person cannot have a luxurious home near a missile site,” according to the New York Post.
It is noteworthy that Elon, who is on the Forbes list of the world’s richest people, revealed last April that he does not own a home and that he sleeps on spare beds in his friends’ homes.
The Tesla founder said in an interview that he does not currently own his own home and that he was staying with friends in the San Francisco Bay Area, near Tesla’s headquarters, when he was working in the city.
He added at the time that if he travels to the San Francisco Bay Area, where most of Tesla’s engineering is located, he switches between the spare bedrooms of his friends, stressing that he does not have a bed, nor does he take any vacations, justifying his personal expenses.
Musk has a net worth of approximately $229 billion, and he is the richest person in the United States and the world.
