Hamas first comment after Israeli raids on Gaza
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Saturday said that “the bombing of the Israeli army on the Gaza Strip is an extension of the aggression that targets all Palestinian territories in Jerusalem, and the West Bank, the last is the assassination of three resistance fighters in Jenin.
Hazem Qassem said in a press statement that “Israel tries miserably and unsuccessfully, through this aggression, to stop the escalation of the Palestinian resistance”.
He said that “the resistance will always be the protective shield for our Palestinian people everywhere with all means to deter the energy.”
He added, “Despite the attack, we will continue our legitimate fighting against the occupier until the liberation, freedom and independence.”
This morning, the Israeli army warplanes launched several series raids on the (Salah al-Din) resistance site in the central Gaza Strip.
Besides, the Israeli drones targeted, with at least two missiles, the monitoring point vicinity belonging to the Hamas field control, in the Malakah area, east of the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, the “Palestine site” north of Beit Lahia completely destroyed it, and the “Hama Al-Thoghour” north of Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian resistance factions launched, at dawn on Saturday, one missile from the Gaza Strip, towards Ashkelon for the first time since the end of the Israeli aggression on the Strip in May 2021.
