Cameron Herrin, 21, pled guilty to two counts of vehicular murder in December and was sentenced on Thursday night.
He murdered the two victims while street racing down a Tampa boulevard with a friend, with the Mustang reaching speeds of 100 mph just before the crash.
When the prison sentence was read to him, he appeared wide-eyed, a penalty that will see him spend more than half of his life in prison by the time he is released.
