British Daily Star reported that Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, will meet with his adviser, Jorge Mendes, in March to discuss summer possibilities.
According to the newspaper, Ronaldo is resolved to leave Manchester United regardless of who the new team coach will be in the summer. Even though Cristiano’s move from Juventus, Italy, for 15 million euros was only months away when he made the early part of the season.
According to the Daily Star, the Portuguese striker is uneasy at Manchester United’s lair, which is led by German technical director Ralph Rangnick, thus Cristiano is having a difficult time right now and his level is quite low.
In the last five games, he hasn’t scored. After a bad performance in front of Middlesbrough and even Burnley in the English league standings, he was replaced.
According to The Mirur, Ronaldo could be available for a swap, in which he would join PSG and play alongside Lionel Messi in exchange for Mauricio Pochettino’s arrival in Manchester.
Will Ronaldo bid United fans farewell next summer? Or will he extend his contract with them until 2023, with the option to extend for another season? In a few weeks, we may have an answer.
