Over 13,000 Pounds of Frozen Pizza Being Recalled
You should be careful when you go to buy frozen pizza because one of the famous food manufacturers has announced that there may be an extra layer on one of their products that you will not like to eat.
It was noticed that there are metal pieces found in a premium pizza Deluxe sausage classic pizza in Chicago after receiving a complaint from a person who discovered baked fragments and then sent the pizza to Illinois and then distributed it to retailers, causing Home Run Inn Frozen Foods to recall about 13,099 pounds of the product.
A 33.5-ounce carton of frozen pizza should be viewed by 12/03/22. The products will also have the Organization number EST. 18498-A is inside the USDA inspection mark.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says that ingesting metal fragments in food can lead to serious injuries, including damage to teeth, mouth or throat wounds, laceration or perforation of the intestine. Although there have been no reports of injuries as a result of pizza consumption so far, the USDA Food Safety Inspection and Inspection Service (FSIS) is concerned that the product may still be in consumers ‘ refrigerators.
