Mother sells her baby for plastic surgery!
A Russian woman sold her newborn baby and waived all his rights to pay $3,600 for rhinoplasty, according to the Daily Star newspaper.
The newspaper said that the woman, 33, was detained in late May on suspicion of involvement in human trafficking, and the Russian media did not disclose her name.
The mother reportedly gave birth to a child on April 25 at a hospital in the southern city of Kaspisk before selling it, just five days after the birth, to a couple in the same area who wanted to raise a child for 200 thousand roubles, equivalent to the US $ 3200.
After the woman received the full amount, the police received a report and detained her alongside the couple who had adopted the illegally born child, according to Russian media.
The same sources explained that the new parents told the investigators that the woman had given them the child’s birth certificate but denied paying directly for the child. They also said that the mother had asked them for the US $3,200 for the cost of the rhinoplasty.
“At present, a series of investigative procedures are being carried out to determine all the circumstances of the crime committed and to consolidate evidence of the suspect’s guilt.”
“She is charged with an offense under the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in the procurement and sale of a person in disability and known to the guilty person.”
