18-year-old Palestinian student succumbs to wounds after Israeli shots
A Palestinian student girl on Monday night succumbed to the injuries she sustained after she was shot by Israeli forces last week, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported in a press statement.
The statement clarified that Hanan Mahmoud Khadour, 18, from the town of Faqqua, northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, was shot in the stomach while she was on her way to school during an Israeli invasion into the city on April 9.
Local sources said that Khadour, who was a high school student, was critically wounded and taken to the hospital in Jenin where she was announced dead late last night.
